Welcome to the historic New Boston Inn

The New Boston Inn, built in 1737, is the oldest Inn in Berkshire County. The New Boston Inn has a unique blend of history, elegance, and tranquility.

We are located in the beautiful Southern Berkshires region of Sandisfield, Massachusetts at the junction of routes 8 and 57 West. Upon entering the Inn, you will step back in time to a relaxing atmosphere filled with the subtle hints of yesteryear. The inn has seven inviting guest rooms which are all equipped with private baths and modern amenities.

The Inn has three dining rooms to serve unforgettable meals made by chef and owner Barbara Colorio. From traditional old recipes like Pot Roast and Shepards Pie, to more recent additions such as New boston Inn's own New England Chicken, made with grilled chicken breast, apples and onions sauteed with brown sugar and topped with crispy Bacon, cheddar cheese and a maple butter sauce- it's simply to die for! Check out the Sample Menu for other selections. We try to accomdate all  palates and special requests. With regular menus, daily specials and a full bar, there is something for everyone. While dining indoors or outdoors, you're sure to find something you will fall in love with. Our ballroom can accomodate small functions. With  twin fireplaces and barrel ceilings, this is a unique place to hold your special event.

For the art and antique lovers, you'll find numerous shops and galleries along the roadways and in nearby towns. For the winter outdoor enthusiasts, we are located near many popular skiing areas Butternut, Ottis Ski ridge, snowmobile trails,  cross country skiing and ice skating Ice fishing. In fall, spring, or summer,  hiking trails, swimming, Reservoir State Parks/Forests, country fairs, Town flea markets, farm stands, orchards, musuems, art centers, and other historic places like ours are all avaiable for exploring and entertainment.
